Important Update: Safeguard Your Trading Account Now!

Dear CGS Valued Clients, |

Following the Joint Statement issued by the Securities Commission Malaysia (SC) and Bursa Malaysia, we are implementing the following enhancements to strengthen the security of your trading account. |
|
|
|
1. Mandatory Password & Trading PIN Reset |
|
To safeguard your account, a mandatory reset of your password and trading PIN will be carried out from Tuesday, 6 May 2025, 7:00 PM onwards, on staggered basis. When you login to your account, you will be prompted to change your password and trading PIN. |
|
|
|
The new password requirements are as follows:

Min password length:8 characters
-
Max password length:20 characters
-
Must include:
-
At least 1 uppercase letter
-
At least 1 lowercase letter
-
At least 1 number
-
With special character e.g. !@#$%^&*() (new requirement)
|
|
|
|
2. New Device Alert |
|
In addition, you will receive an email notification if your account is accessed from a new device. This feature aims to alert you promptly and enhance the security of your account. |
