With reference to the matter above, we wish to inform you of the following important updates regarding CGS International Securities Malaysia Sdn. Bhd. (“CGS MY”):

1.the discontinuation of receiving cash deposits made via (i) Cash Deposit Machines and/or (ii) over‑the‑counter channels; and

2. the introduction of a new bank account for CGS MY.

1. Discontinuation of receiving cash deposits

Please be informed that effective 1 April 2026 (“Effective Date”), CGS MY will no longer accept or process cash deposits made via (i) Cash Deposit Machines or(ii) Over-the-Counter channels (collectively referred to as “Cash Deposits”).
 
Any Cash Deposits received through these channels on or after the Effective Date will not be accepted or processed. In the event there are any inadvertent deposits are made vide the channels above, such deposits will only be refunded to the respective client upon a submission of a valid claim by the relevant client, together with complete and satisfactory supporting documentation, and will be subject to mandatory verification procedures. Please note that this may result in delays in the processing of the refunds.
 
CGS MY reserves the right to classify any unidentified or unclaimed deposits as unclaimed monies in accordance with applicable Malaysian laws and regulatory guidelines, including those issued by Bank Negara Malaysia and the Unclaimed Moneys Act 1965.

2. New Bank Account for CGS International Securities Malaysia Sdn. Bhd.

CGS MY has established a new bank account (details provided below) for the purpose of receiving client deposits and payments with immediate effect.

Please ensure that all payments made via bank transfer or cheque to CGS MY are made solely to the new bank account. Any payments made to any other CGS MY bank accounts may be rejected, returned, or delayed, which may consequently affect your trade settlements.
 
For cheque payments, please ensure that cheques are made payable to: “CGS International Securities Malaysia Sdn. Bhd. For ”, and that such deposit is made into the new bank account stated above.

Other Payment Options
 
To ensure smooth payment processing and deposit of trust monies, and avoid any disruption to your trading and/or settlement activities, all clients are encouraged to make payments to CGS MY through the following channels:

1. CGS iTrade via E-Deposit.If you have not yet registered for an iTrade account, please complete your registration promptly at https://itrade.cgsi.com.my and select “Register” to ensure uninterrupted access to online transaction; or

2. Online bank transfer from their own personal bank account (not joint account(s)).
