Implementation of Services Tax (“ST”) on Brokerage and Underwriting Services

As per the announcement made by the Royal Malaysian Customs Department on 31 December 2018 and as provided under section 13 (3) of the Service Tax Act 2018, the charging of service tax on brokerage and underwriting services will take effect from 1st March 2019.
