Dear i*Trade@CIMB Customers,

We wish to inform that SGX had introduced a Settlement Instruction Fee (SI Fee) of SGD 0.35 or equivalent in foreign currency per contract effective from 17th January 2018.  To facilitate the transition, CGS-CIMB Singapore has been absorbing the fees whilst other Singapore brokers had already started charging this fee onto their clients in January 2019.

However with effect from 1st March 2019, SI Fee will be charged to CIMB Securities for all SGX trades executed through CIMB Securities.  As such CIMB Securities will incorporate this fee as one of the items under foreign charges in the contract notes.

Please refer to the table below for fee equivalent in different traded currencies for shares listed at SGX

*Fees in foreign currency will be subjected to change at the discretion of CGS-CIMB Singapore due to exchange rate movement
