Bursa Malaysia Derivatives Berhad T+1 Night Trading Session (6 December 2021)

Bursa Malaysia Derivatives Berhad (“BMD”) is introducing an after-hours (T+1) trading session starting from 6th December 2021 as part of its initiatives to enhance the attractiveness of Malaysia’s derivatives market. Please note that - |

|

The after-hours (T+1) trading session will begin from 9:00PM to 11:30PM for all existing BMD products, except for security-based contracts (i.e. Single Stock Futures and Malaysian Government Securities Futures).

The after-hours (T+1) trading session is only applicable from Monday to Thursday. The after-hours (T+1) trading session will not be applicable on any Fridays.

Trades executed during the after-hours (T+1) trading session would be deemed as the next business day trade and will be settled on next business day.

There will be no after-hours (T+1) trading session on the eve of a public holiday and on the night of the public holiday. The only exception is when the after-hours (T+1) trading session has already started prior before the eve of an unplanned holiday.
